On April 20, 2012 Chairman of MUEE, Chairman of the Supreme Coordination Council Vladimir Karyagin celebrates his 60th anniversary. He is one of the first organizers of cooperative and entrepreneurship movement  in USSR and Belarus. He has participated in scientific and organizational and legislative development of economic cooperative sector since 1986. During these years Vladimir Karyagin advanced business activity of citizen, importance of entrepreneurship and civil society. We thank you for your input in development of entrepreneurship in Belarus, creation of national business culture, support of business environment. We wish you good health, energy, optimism and new achievements!

Vladimir Karyagin participated on April 10, 2012 in 9th International research and practice conference “Entrepreneurship in Belarus: experience and prospects” that was organized by Institute of entrepreneurship. Among participants were representatives of Institute of economy at National academy of science and Institute of entrepreneurship, Ministry of Economy, Minsk city executive committee, scientists form Russia, Ukraine, Latvia. Vladimir Karyagin made report about history of Belarusian entrepreneurship, its modern state and prospects of development, advocacy, role of business – associations in entrepreneurship development and presented NBP-2012, process of its advancement.

On April 6, 2012 took place the awarding ceremony of annual contest “The best entrepreneur of the year in Minsk region”. In his welcoming speech chairman of Minsk region executive committee Boris Batura marked that small and medium business makes essential input in development of economy of Minsk region. Contest “The best entrepreneur of the year in Minsk region” was started 15 years ago and number of participants increases every year. This year applications were given by over than 100 economic entities, 39 became winners and awardees in 16 nominations.

February 29, 2012 essential event happened in the life of Belarusian business community: entrepreneurs, founders, leaders of enterprises, representatives of 46 business associations, associations of entrepreneurs gathered in Minsk to participate at XIII Assembly of business circles of Belarus “Together to modernization”.

Training seminar was held in Gomel on February 21, 2012 (instead of seminar in Lida by request of local business community). 32 people participated. Topic of seminar: “Cooperation between business and authority: stimulation of business activity and prevention of violations”. Among participants: Konstantin Krukov – representative of Entrepreneurship department, Alexander Yakobson – chairman of State control committee of Belarus, Alexander Konuk – General Prosecutor of Belarus, Vladimir Dvornik – chairman of Gomel city executive committee, representatives of business associations.

National teleconference of regional business associations 2 (72) was held on February 7, 2012 with 82 people from 11 cities of Belarus: Brest, Borisov (Minsk region), Grodno, Gomel, Molodechno (Minsk region), Minsk, Mogilev, Lida (Grodno region), Schuchin (Grodno region), Rogachev (Gomel region), Jlobin (Gomel region). At teleconference participated regional and branch business associations, representatives of AC Strategy, newspapers “Gostinny dvor” (Vitebsk), “Souz predprinimatelei”, “Evening Brest” etc.

Vladimir Karyagin presented draft of NBP-2012 at session of Consultative and coordination Council of business community (CCC) on February 1 in Minsk with participation of Deputy minister of taxation Vasili Kamenko; Chairman of Entrepreneurship development Council, Chairman of national statistic committee Vladimir Zinovski. Members of Council discussed new edition of draft of Presidential Decree “On measures of illegal minimization of tax rates”, in which were included offers of business circles made on January 19 at session of working group. Vladimir Karyagin marked that draft is still not satisfactory for business community. Participants decided to send it for adaptation to Ministry of taxation. Also participants discussed and supported Assembly of business circles on February 29, 2012 and told about their willingness for active discussions in their business associations.

January 24 the first Vice-chairman of Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers Viktor Margelov and chief of legal department Vadim Borodulia participated in session of Consultative and coordination Council of business communities (CCC). Participants discussed draft of Belarus National Business Platform – 2012 that was presented by Viktor Margelov. After the session decision about global discussion of draft at Assembly of business circles of Belarus, that will be held on February 29, was made. During the session were discussed other numerous issues of business climate of Belarus.
