On November 23 took place a session of Presidium of “MCAEE”. During the session were analyzed results of cooperation with foreign partners: Center for International Private Enterprise at CCI of USA (CIPE), International council of Swedish industry (NIR), Committee of Eastern partnership; under discussion were plans of MCAEE for January and February 2011; approved the project of partner enterprises “Network systems”, CJSC and “Intellectual partner”, SLC. New members of Association were elected. Members of Presidium decided to find Slovenia – Belarus business club at MCAEE; start work on Belarus national business platform-2011; initiate preparation to 12^th Assembly of business circles of Belarus that is planned to be held on March 2, 2011.

On November 24 was held 2^nd Economic forum “Conditions of entrepreneurship in Belarus for Belarusian enterprises with Polish capital: economic situation, problems and possibilities after Customs Union come into force”. Reports were made by V. Pokladek (adviser of Poland embassy), L.Zaiko (head of AC “STRATEGY”), A. Lihachevsky (director of Entrepreneurship department of Ministry of economy of Belarus), V. Margelov (the first vice chairman of “Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers”, PA (MCAEE), V. Tarasevich, chief of Ministry of taxation department.

Last week all ministries and departments, participating in a work of future 3^rd Belarusian investment forum, continued to inform about their willingness to participation in this event. Forum will be held on November 17^th during European financial week in Frankfurt Main (Germany) under support of Belarusian government. 

On November 1^st was held official inauguration of International Council of Swedish industry (NIR), directed to development of business relations between Sweden and Belarus, increase of effectiveness of private sector role in Belarusian economy and stimulation of knowledge and ideas exchange. While improving contacts between Belarus and such countries as Sweden, programme stimulates mutual economic cooperation and increase of business exchange and investments.

On October 14 during the opening of International conference ADVANCEDBRANDING 2010 were announced results of annual national rating “Top Belarusian brands 2010”.

This rating estimates effectiveness and summarizes communication of Belarusian brands with consumers.

Within the framework of professional competition “BRAND OF YEAR” center SATIO secondly in our country was held national monitoring of popularity of Belarusian brands.

Let us inform you that International Theoretical and Practical Conference “The second Belarusian innovation forum” and the first Belarusian venture fair will take place on the 18-19 November 2010 in Minsk.

On October, 4^th office of PA MCAEE visited Kim Dong Myo (Deputy General Director of Commercial Section of Embassy of the Republic of Korea (KOTRA) Moscow) and Hwang Jee Young (Researcher of Center for Regional Economic Studies of Korea Institute for International Economic Policy). Korea Institute for International Economic Policy deals with economy studying all over the world. Now institute has interest in Belarusian economy. During negotiations were asked questions about economical specialty and business climate of country. The guests were also interested in possible difficulties of doing business in republic. Liliya Koval made presentation about activity of PA MCAEE and Belarus national business platform.

Innovation projects are the future of Belarusian small business companies. The representatives of committee of economics informed that there are more than 70 companies in the capital of The Republic of Belarus that work on 130 programs connected with newest technologies.
